ON-DEMAND WEBINAR

New Regulations and What You Need to Know About Cannabis Compliance in Massachusetts

Originally Aired: December 6th at 1pm EST

More than $5 billion in cannabis has been sold in Massachusetts since the state launched its retail cannabis market in late 2018. But those figures don’t reflect the fact that companies in Massachusetts are dealing with the same difficulties faced in other legal cannabis markets and still have to find ways to navigate the state’s complex regulatory requirements.

In this on-demand Rootwurks webinar, you can hear David Ullian, Partner in cannabis law firm Vicente LLP's Boston office, and Sarah Grande, a compliance manager for Vicente LLP in Boston, discuss what cannabis operators need to know about compliance in Massachusetts, the new regulations just adopted by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission, and the challenges cannabis companies face.

About this Webinar

Falling wholesale cannabis prices, competition from the illicit market, the lack of federal legalization - the difficulties faced by cannabis companies around the country are well-known.

Launched in late 2018, the Massachusetts adult-use cannabis market was the first to open east of the Mississippi and has racked up billions in sales in barely 5 years. But like in any other legal cannabis market, companies in Massachusetts face no shortage of challenges related to the compliance and safety regulations of cannabis.

In this on-demand Rootwurks webinar, you can hear two experts from cannabis law firm Vicente LLP's Boston office discuss the cannabis guidelines in Massachusetts, what people need to know before getting into the cannabis market in the state, and how the state’s new regulations could affect cannabis companies.
